Summary
DADISICK's blog post offers essential guidance on safety switches usage and installation. Proper installation ensures reliability and effectiveness in safeguarding industrial environments. It highlights precautions for different industrial settings, ensuring optimal safety switches performance. Follow these insights to enhance workplace safety across automation, manufacturing, and more.

1. To ensure personal safety and prevent safety accidents, please install multiple safety devices at the same time when using safety switches, otherwise it may cause personal injury or safety accidents.
2. Please appoint an equipment administrator to operate the safety switches, and the administrator requirements are as follows.
Operators who are familiar with the installation, setup, use, and maintenance of safety switches.
Operators who are well trained in and comply with national or regional regulations/systems/laws applicable to the safety switches. If the equipment is operated by a person who is not trained in the use of safety switch, there is a risk of personal injury or a safety hazard.
3.After installing the interlock switch, please make sure that the safety interlock switches is functioning as intended before putting it into operation. Failure to do so may result in personal injury or a safety hazard.
4.It is prohibited to use the safety switches in places where explosive, flammable, or corrosive gases are present, or in places where the temperature changes drastically, places with high humidity where condensation may occur, and places with strong vibrations, or in places where solvents such as diluents and detergents are present, as there is a risk of explosion or fire, and there is a risk of degradation of the industrial safety switches's performance.
5.Safety interlock switches configured with a variety of contact configurations, please confirm when ordering, and select the appropriate model according to the requirements, do not arbitrarily modify the safety door switch, otherwise it may reduce the performance of the equipment safety switches and damage the switch.
6.Do not use the safety door switches as a door stop element. Always set a mechanical stop element to limit the door position.
7.Do not use the safety door switches as a door lock device. Please add a mechanical door bolt or other methods to set the door lock. Otherwise, the safety door switch operation key may be offset due to vibration or the door itself, and cannot be accurately inserted into the switch actuator, and may even damage the switch.

The safety door switches with locking function can ensure that the safety protection device door and other protective covers remain in a safe state even if the dangerous state is not eliminated. High strength wear-resistant engineering plastic with built-in 304 stainless steel components. Forced mechanical interlocking self detection structure with extremely high reliability
1. Before installation, please confirm the wiring diagram before wiring. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent loose wires, which could affect the reliability of the safety circuit. Minimize the total length of wiring to reduce voltage drop and signal attenuation. Ensure the power supply voltage remains within the rated range of the safety door locks. Use cables with appropriate specifications, such as those with a diameter of 5–10mm, to ensure reliable connections and prevent damage to the safety door lock housing;
2. Please use it within the specification range. Do not install in environments where the safety door lock may be exposed to water, oil, or chemicals, as this could damage the lock. Ensure the installation environment meets the temperature and humidity requirements specified in the product documentation to maintain normal operation;
3. When changing the head direction, please prevent foreign objects from entering the safety locking switches and tighten the fastening screws. Ensure proper alignment of the safety door lock and the safety relay to avoid misalignment, which could lead to incorrect triggering or damage.;
4. When opening the protective cover, prevent debris, liquid, cable residue, and other foreign objects from entering the switch;
5. Please use reliable fixing methods such as welding and screws to fix the operating key in a reasonable position to prevent it from falling off or shifting;
6. Please use the special operating key configured for our company's safety door switches;
7. Please take care to keep the spare operating key;
8. Do Not Use as a Stop Element. Safety door locks should not be used as stop elements for doors. Mechanical stop elements should be set to limit the door’s position to prevent damage to the safety door lock from long-term collisions;
9. Emergency Unlocking Knob Position. The emergency unlocking knob should be installed in a location within the hazardous area where it can be easily operated. Avoid using tools or applying excessive force to the emergency unlocking knob. Do not rotate the knob beyond its specified angle to prevent damage to the knob component;
