Working Principle & Applications
The retroreflective (mirror reflective) design uses a single device plus a reflector: the emitter and receiver share the housing, and the beam returns from the reflector. An object is detected when it interrupts the returned light. This makes the DK-GF18 ideal for detecting opaque objects at long range without running cables to both sides of the line.
