In addition, the correct installation of safety switch is crucial for ensuring the reliable operation of equipment and enhancing the safety of both production and operational personnel. The following section details the specific installation requirements and important precautions for the OX-D2/D3 series safety switch, providing essential guidance to achieve optimal safety and performance.
Installation Diagram of OX-D2&D3 Safety Switch Operation Key
1. The safety switch operation key should be installed in a location where the door will not come into contact with the human body when opened. Failure to do so could result in personal injury.
2. Avoid using the switch body as a stop element. Instead, ensure a separate stop element is installed as illustrated in the picture. This will prevent the edge of the safety switch operating key from striking the switch head, safeguarding both the key and the safety switch devices from potential damage.
Precautions of Safety Switch Keys Operating
1. The safety switch devices should only be operated with the original, specially designed operation key. To ensure the continued safety and integrity of the equipment, please do not attempt to operate the switch with any tools or keys other than the original operation key.
2. When installing the operation key onto the safety switch body, please ensure that no weight or pressure is applied to the front end of the key. Dropping the key is also prohibited, as this could result in deformation or damage to the safety switch, which would compromise its safety and functionality.
3. Ensure the distance between the assembly point and the hinge exceeds the specified minimum radius. Adhering to this requirement is critical to ensure the correct operation of the safety switch mechanism, preventing potential misalignment and ensuring the long-term reliability of the installation.
4. Please install safety switches and operating keys within the prepared position range (1-3.5 mm).
5. The tolerance of the installation of the operating key is +/- 1mm from the center of the insertion hole.
The OX-D2/D3 series safety switches also offers users the flexibility to adjust the head direction. Simply loosen the four screws at the top of the head, rotate it to the desired operating keyhole position, and then proceed with the installation. This feature allows for optimal alignment and ease of use during setup.
Safety Points of Safety Switch
1. The operation key should be installed in a location where the door, when opened, will not come into contact with the human body. Failure to position it correctly could result in personal injury.
2. Avoid using the safety switch body as a stop element. Instead, ensure a separate stop element is installed as illustrated in the picture to prevent the edge of the operating key from striking the safety switch head. This setup will protect the switch from potential damage and ensure reliable operation.
