Summary
DADISICK's blog post explores how safety door switches enhance machine safety. These switches offer simple yet effective safeguarding, crucial in industries like automation and manufacturing. They detect door openings to trigger safety mechanisms, stopping equipment and preventing accidents. This ensures compliance with safety standards and protects employees. Discover how DADISICK's safety door switches strengthen industrial safety.

The safety door switch is a safety device used to detect whether movable protective devices such as doors, fences, and covers are in an open or closed state. The OX-D6 series safety door switch from DADISICK is a lock-type design (including both Power-to-Release and Power-to-Lock functions), featuring a full metal structure that is robust, safe, and durable. The product is available in two configurations: standard and high-function models. The high-function model provides an additional AUX output on each unit, which simplifies wiring through cascading. It also includes EDM (External Device Monitoring) and manual reset functions, making it suitable for a variety of application needs.

Locking Type is Necessary
Power-to-Release
▪️Requires a signal to release the locking mechanism.
▪️Remains locked if the unit power is lost.
▪️Ideal for high-inertia machines that may remain hazardous after power is lost or removed.
▪️Suitable for protecting machines with long stop times.
Power-to-Lock
▪️Requires a signal to engage the locking mechanism
▪️The lock is disengaged if the unit power is lost
▪️Ideal for machines that are no longer hazardous once power is lost or removed
▪️Suitable for protecting machines that stop immediately after power loss
